Arches, Arbors, Altars & Chuppahs

Floral Design: Wild Ginger Weddings

Whether it’s an arbor or an arch, freestanding floral pillars, a chuppah, altar, or mandap- we love creating floral backdrops for your wedding ceremony. Even better if we get to hang your flowers from the ceiling or float them in water- whether it’s hanging flower garlands, vining greenery, or floral chandeliers, or floating arrangements in the venue’s lake, fountain, or pool, we love covering any and every surface at your wedding in flowers.

Immersive Experiences

We love covering any and every surface at your wedding in flowers to turn flowers into an experience. Flower crowns, suit lapels, and throwing flower petals are also great ways to weave flowers throughout your wedding ceremony and reception.

native Plant weddings

Designing with native plants holds a special place in our hearts, and nobody does elegant, upscale floral design with native plants better than we do. This is for all of our ecologists, botanists, biologists, conservationists, outdoorsy people, and plant lovers out there.

Fall weddings

Dahlias. Chrysanthemums. Garden Roses. Fall foliage. Strawflower. Lisianthus. Dried grasses. Seedpods. Berries- winterberry, bittersweet, rose hips, viburnum. Deep colors or warm golden neutrals. Fall floral arrangements are rich, complex, and textured, like a warm knit sweater. If you love texture, fall is your season to get married! In St. Louis, true fall foliage and weather doesn’t kick in until late October- keep that in mind when you’re planning your dates! A September wedding will often still feel a bit like summer.

Spring weddings

Tulips. Daffodils. Ranunculus. Peonies. Poppies. Helleborus. Sweet peas. I could go on! Ruffly petals, incredible scents, and endless color combinations. Spring is an amazing time to get married in St. Louis. Might I recommend April?

Zinnias. Cosmos. Scabiosa. Rudbeckia. Tomatoes. Herbs- dill, basil, scented geranium. The first dahlias of the season. Wildflowers reaching for the sun. Summer flowers are a tangled garden of delight.

Behind the scenes - growing your flowers

Sustainability is important to our couples, and we are guided by our love and wonder for the diverse ecosystems that bring forth flowers and other living things. Our clients love that we never use floral foam, we minimize single-use items, and we compost our organic waste. We also prioritize buying flowers from local & regional sustainable flower farmers.
